Warranty Policy
The OTEK products come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the original purchase date, subject to the following conditions:
1. Customers must promptly notify the company in writing or call for any defects and provide the company or its authorized agent with sufficient opportunity to inspect, test, and address these defects. If requested, customers must deliver the goods, along with the original invoice, to the company’s office or service center in the city where the purchase was made.
2. The company or its authorized dealer has the right to retain any defective parts replaced under the warranty.
3. The inspection and test report from the company’s office or service center will be considered final and binding for determining defects, necessary repairs or alterations, and certifying the goods’ functionality thereafter.
4. The company’s liability under the warranty is limited to defects that occur under normal operation and proper use. It excludes defects caused by abuse, improper care or maintenance, unauthorized repairs or alterations, use with an unsuitable electrical supply, or damage from lightning or other electrical disturbances.
5. The company reserves the right to replace any defective device or component with a defect-free equivalent that ensures performance equal to or better than the original. The replaced defective device or component will become the property of the company.
6. The warranty does not cover personal injury, property damage, consequential damages, or improper use of the goods not aligned with the user manual.
7. If the product requires an upgrade due to reasons not within the company’s control, the customer must accept the upgrade at the current rate.
8. Using non-standard accessories or accessories not recommended by OTEK will void the warranty.
9. After repair or replacement, the warranty period will remain unchanged, with no extension provided.
10. The company reserves the right to amend, extend, cancel, or discontinue these terms and conditions, or any part thereof, without providing reasons or prior notice.
11. Force Majeure: The company is not liable for non-performance of its obligations due to force majeure events, including acts of God, government orders or restrictions, war, labor disputes, riots, civil commotion, strikes, lockdowns, pandemics, explosions, or any other circumstances beyond its control.
12. All other terms and conditions related to the company’s products will remain effective as stated. 13. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Pune Courts only. For Warranty Claim Customers must raise a trouble ticket/case with OTEK to claim the warranty.

Post-Warranty Customers can contact our Service Center for servicing their OTEK products on a cost basis, covering labor and parts at the prevailing company rates. These services are available in locations where the company has service centers.
